Graeme Thom
As a highly experienced general manager, Graeme Thom has spent the past 25 years in a range of senior management and consultancy roles. He started his career in his native Scotland, holding a number of technical and quality management roles while studying Management and Quality Systems.
In the mid ‘90’s Graeme re-located to the Midlands, moving into production and general management with the large group operating familiar High Street names such as Klick Photopoint and Supasnaps. Here he gained experience in M&A, change, and rationalisation, as well as the other challenges associated with responsibility for a multi-million pound production and distribution operation.
In 2006, Graeme joined Photo-Me International as a Management Consultant to overhaul the customer focus of the service division, re-launch a sales offering, and integrate the sales and service functions. He then became MD of the plc’s subsidiaries in NI and Ireland, holding this position for almost three years before deciding to return to the Midlands and re-engage in business consultancy work.
Graeme brings to cmc an extensive and unique blend of real life management experience, coupled with his business review, advice and delivery background. This varied experience gives Graeme the ideal platform as a cmc Partner to help large and small companies find their way in an increasingly challenging business environment.
For relaxation Graeme can be found, with his wife, supporting Aston Villa FC as season ticket holders, or in his scuba gear, "working" as a PADI Divemaster.
