Will Evans
Will is a Chartered Management Accountant and has developed his career through roles both in accountancy practice and in industry. After graduating from Durham University, he joined Big Four accountancy firm KPMG in London, working with a broad range of clients on audit and tax matters, and on special project work including a bid defence for the London Stock Exchange.
Following a further consultancy role at Friends Provident, working to improve business processes and controls, Will then moved to an international oil company as Group Financial Controller. As part of the senior management team in PVM Oil Associates, Will advised the owner-managers and the Board on financial and operational strategy. His experience included the re-structuring of the group and involvement in its merger and acquisitions activity.
Will brings to cmc his technical accountancy skills coupled with strong commercial focus, enabling him to tackle short-term issues while never losing sight of his clients’ long-term objectives. He has a proactive, results-driven style.
Will is based in Cheltenham and brings the cmc advisory service to Gloucestershire businesses. He is married, with a small daughter, and enjoys watching and participating in all types of sport, particularly golf, cricket, sailing, and walking his very active dog.
